Garments: Wave Bomber, Oceana Shirt, Valley Stole
Indigo tends to rub on skin and lighter garments. Don't worry, it will wash off after washing. However, if you want to avoid this, wash by hand a couple of times in slightly warm water before wearing until bleeding stops. Always wash with neutral pH soap in similar colours. Tumble dry low or hang dry in the shadow to extend the life of your garment.
Garments: Desert Shirt, Barrel Henley
Indigo is great, but variety is also great. This astonishing sky blue comes from the flowers of the Butterfly Pea, or like the name suggests, Clitorea ternatea. As always, wash in cold water and avoid tumbling. All garments last better if they are hang dried.
Garments: Oceana Shirt, Deck Shorts
Our Karungali Grey has a slight blueish tonality. Garments dyed in this color have a long lasting fastness. Even then, it is better to wash in cold water and hand dry them.
Iron Black & Greys
Garments: Rogue Chinos, Curling Pocket, Oceana Shirt, Valley Stole
Iron bathed garments will get nasty brown stains if touched with acid components such as vinegar or lemon. With time colour will tend to fade into a brownish rusty look. So wash in cold water with neutral pH soap and dry in the shadow to extend the life of the colour.
Garments: Rogue Chinos
Our khaki green chinos are a mix of fermented iron and Terminali chebula flowers. Follow indications for both colours to prolong the life of this pants.
Garments: Desert Shirt, Concrete Shirt
Terminalia chebula garments tend to get darker with sunlight. Wash with neutral pH soap in cold water, tumble dry low, or even better, hang dry in the shadow.
Garments: Barrel T-Shirt
Such a beautiful green, and so versatile. Like all garments wash in cold water, do not tumble dry, or if you have to, tumble dry low. That is, a gentle cycle in the dryer. And always pH neutral soap.
Garments: Canyon Pants, Trails Hat
We have used acacia brown dye to dye yarn for different garments. It can tend to have an orange tint under sunlight, and like all mordant dyes it needs taking care of. Best to wash in cold water and hang dry to maintain the color alive longer.
Garments: Concrete Shirt
Unlike other brown in natural dyes, we have not need to use a mordant in this case. Thanks to this the colour is more homogeneous. However, maintain basic washing instructions like cold water and hang drying.
Garments: Desert Shirt, Cardigan, Deck Shorts, Valley Stole
Now watch out with this one cause it bleeds. So it is really important to use it firstly with darker clothes. Sometimes the colour will go away from those stained clothes, but it could not. There is no specific formula to determine this. Follow indications as in Indigo to wash the cardigan several times to stop the bleeding.
