Product description
When we couldn't find a short that said style and sustainability, we designed the Deck Shorts. Lightweight and elegant, but strong. It's a great city short for tons of city activities.

It has a straight slim fit in a low waist pattern, and a longer inseam for those with shy legs. Overall, its a durable pant in a strong organic cotton lightweight fabric dyed using vegetable dyes.

Craftmanship

Dyed using vegetable dyes. Particularly the branches of Rubia cordifolia were used to dye the fabric into an intense orangy-red.

Fabric has been dyed using traditional forms of dyeing with plants and minerals, with Alum as a mordant. However, water is treated and waste is neutralized and the minimum residue can be used as compost.

Our collections are made in small limited batches.

Washing Instructions
  • Wash, dry and iron INSIDE-OUT
  • First washes with similar colour
  • Cold wash
  • pH Neutral soap
  • Do NOT put in the dryer, instead shadow hang-dry
  • Do NOT dry clean
  • Avoid acid stains such as vinegar or lemon
  • Colour will change with time
