Product description
The Valley Stole is a lightweight scarve made out of 100% Linen. Inspired to give style and cover our necks on colder days. An assortment of colors to match any of our shirts and be able to combine with style no matter the occassion or the time of year.

We looked to create a scarve that would add personality to the rest of your clothes without it taking all the attention. This is why we thought of Linen instead of our usual Organic Cotton.

Craftmanship

Dyed using vegetable and mineral dyes. Scarves have been manually dyed by expert dyers in Gujarat, India. Fermented Iron has been used to obtain the Iron Grey; Fermented Indigofera tinctorea leafs for our light Indigo and the branches of Rubia cordifolea for our Madder.

Scarves have been dyed using traditional forms of dyeing with plants and minerals, with Alum as a mordant. The mordant is neutralized in the dyeing bath and the residue is minimum and used as compost.

Our collections are made in small limited batches.

Washing Instructions
  • Wash, dry and iron INSIDE-OUT
  • First washes with similar colour
  • Cold wash
  • pH Neutral soap
  • Do NOT put in the dryer, instead shadow hang-dry
  • Do NOT dry clean
  • Avoid acid stains such as vinegar or lemon
  • Colour will change with time
