An innovative take on the classic Bomber Jacket. A lightweight jacket to show off with thanks to its unique texture. A Matt weave that will age nicely and a high neck that makes it even cooler.

Dyed in natural fermented Indigo, every wash will create a unique jacket, that will show your own character. Every rub, a trait of your personality.

Craftmanship

For the outer fabric, yarn was dyed in hank form in fermented natural Indigo (Indigofera tinctorea). Fermented Indigo pots can stay alive for long periods of time if taken care continuosly. This way resources are not wasted. And even if a pot cannot be reactivated it is all organic compounds, and the sludge at the bottom of the pots is an excellent compost.

The inner fabric was dyed with the leaves of Karungali maram, a tree typical from Tamil Nadu. Unlike other traditional forms of dyeing with plants and minerals, fabric was dyed in a steam bath and contains no mordant, which means, Zero Chemicals. The residue is minimum and can also be used as compost.

Washing Instructions
  • Wash, dry and iron INSIDE-OUT
  • First washes with similar colour
  • Cold wash
  • pH Neutral soap
  • Do NOT put in the dryer, instead shadow hang-dry
  • Do NOT dry clean
  • Avoid acid stains such as vinegar or lemon
  • Colour will change with time
